This is the link for my video because i have tried to make it viewable from blogger but it will not work no matter what i have tried to do, it just will not work.

Quick brief?

My brief was to make a short and quick animation that lasted around 30 seconds or so and to also add effect to it like fading and titles also add music to it so it does not have sound in the background, the music has to match the kind of animation that i am making.

How did I do it?

I firstly chose what I wanted to use out of different kind of animation types and I chose that I would use lego for this

I went around on the internet and looked for images that would fit my animation, the kind of images that i need, I got two different images for my animation one of them was a hill and the other was a road and they both matches each other so they did not look like two different random places.

I intended to get all this done in less than a month so maybe around 2 weeks and 5 days so I have times for the other parts of the

I started this animation by looking at different images and figuring what ones would be most suitable for my animation, I needed a road and a grassy hill but they had to look similar so it looks like they were in the same place as each other, I eventually found the images that I felt would fit, they are posted below.

Then I put the road on the table and same with the grass, next to each other, I put them like this because I thought it would be easier for me in the long run.

I used iStopMotion for my animation, in my animation there is three different scenes, obviously one of them being on the hill, one of the road and the other will be the credits.

I choose two different characters for my animation they are shown below this writing. One of them is a bad guy, that is the character in black and the other character i used was the good character.

The bad guy in this is trying to shoot the bad guy out of no where, the good guy was just walking along the road and he starts getting shot at.

 
I then opened up iStopMotion to get ready to start animating,
I used a HUE HD webcam for my animating, I started with the first scene of the good guy walking a long the road then the other guy walks down the hill, chases the good guy off then walks back up the hill and then it switches.

It then switches scene to the bad guy walking up the hill, then he turns around looks at the camera then it ends there.

I then saved it as a adobe quicktime file type.

I opened it up in adobe premiere because this is the software I chose to edit my animation in.


I did not have to shorten some clips because it all kind of fitted together.

I added a fade at the fart and a fade between the scenes just so it does not just go to black.

Then I saved it as a .mov file.

 This is my characters for my animation I used these because the black is like a dark colour so it kinda relates to evil and I wanted a good and evil character and his face and the horns or whatever they seem to be on his face look like he would be evil. I chose that good character because he looks like he would be innocent kind of guy there is no other reason why I chose him other than that

I have been doing my animation and i am having problems because Istopmotion is not working at all, it is not letting me get my work into istopmotion and when I try to take a picture it says there isn't enough space for me to do that, so this lesson I have not did any work, I have tried to but it is not working because of it

Here is A animation that I edited myself. i did this by dragging the original into Imovie then making a new project and clicking on blank because you get a choice of themes of your animation for your animation I will show you a printscreen of what exactly I am trying to explain here if you dont get it fully. Here is some of the choices that will give you
you when you start to make your project and edit it, if you scroll down you will find more of a variety of different themes. There is themes going from horror to comedy and much more.

you will get something along these lines when you choose what project theme that you wish to choose.

you add text to the parts where you wish to put it by writing in the area that is kind of yellow and what you write will appear onto the screen.

But i did not do this, I chose blank and by choosing blank you dont get this area that looks like this you get this.

I just chose what clips i wanted to put in by clicking on the starting area of the clip, your clips are located under the box. you click the starting area of the clip you want and drag it until the area you wish to end it at, then you drag it into the top area.

I added effects into mine and the way I added effects and writing into mine, the way you do it is by dragging the effect or text theme into the area you want it to be located and write into it or if you have added a effect you wont have to do anything. This is what you click, you either click the "T" if you want to add writing or you click the kind of icon that looks like a tv screen and is square shaped, that will put you onto the area where you choose your effects

Short animation

This is a short animation that was put together over two lessons in total. There was me and Ryan in a small group and we looked through magazines for different kind of images that we wanted for our animation. It taken us around thirty minutes to get what exact images we wanted out of the magazines. We then cut them out of the magazine. We Used portable cameras that were easily attached to the computer through a usb cable. We then opened iStopMotion 3, We placed the camera in a perfect spot for our animation so it worked and you could only see the table and not the floor or anything else, just the cut outs we got. We then figured out what exactly we wanted the character to do. We made the character we made the character walk across the screen, we gave it the effect as it was bobbing up and down. We couldn't find any feet for the character so we made it so the bottom part of his body could not be seen on the screen. We then exported it onto shared public so Ryan could get it and upload it onto his blog because we made the animation on my computer.
